How to get help with your Flashpoint warranty issues
Step 1) Send us an email at email@example.com or give us a call at 212-647-9300
Step 2) Our Flashpoint Expert will troubleshoot, evaluate your problems and offer solutions. If we cannot fix it with you by phone or email, we’ll move forward with the warranty fulfillment
Step 3) We email you an RMA form, and if eligible, we’ll send you a shipping label to use as well.
Step 4) Once we receive the product, our trained Flashpoint repair crew will find the problem and return the product to you with a replacement part. If the issue isn’t a quick fix, we make sure you can get back to shooting quickly by sending you a replacement unit.
30-day returns: If you change your mind on any Flashpoint product, contact us by phone or email and we’ll provide you with free return shipping.
Out of warranty? Having problems with your unit, but your warranty has passed? Not to worry! We can offer a manufacturer recertified “out of warranty” replacement, Please see below more on Flashpoint Out of warranty.
Add extra warranty: If you want to extend the warranty beyond 90 days, you can add a service plan from New Leaf through Adorama.
Covered by warranty for lights: electronic components are covered for up to three years, but consumables such as batteries and flash tubes are limited to a 30-day warranty

FLASHPOINT LIMITED WARRANTY
Flashpoint warrants to the original purchaser that your Flashpoint product(s) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (or delivery, as may be required in certain jurisdictions), or ninety (90) days after replacement, whichever comes later. Flashpoint’s entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be, at Flashpoint’s option, to repair or replace the hardware, provided that the hardware is returned to Technical Support?.
Flashpoint may replace your product, offer to provide a functionally equivalent product, or repair any product with new, refurbished or used parts, if such parts are in compliance with the product’s technical specifications. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction.
If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function. This warranty does not cover issues or damage resulting from accident, abuse, impact damage, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly, improper operation or maintenance, normal wear and tear, or usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to improper voltage supply, use of consumables, such as batteries and flashtubes, or any products not supplied by Flashpoint, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser and the country in which the product was purchased. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, including a longer warranty duration that may vary under local laws.
To start a warranty claim, contact the Flashpoint Customer Service Department to obtain technical support troubleshooting, return instructions, and return the defective product to Flashpoint, along with the RMA form and proof of purchase.
Flashpoint also offers support for customer’s whose units are out of warranty or which suffer damage not covered by the warranty. Please contact us for more information.
What is covered under the one-year warranty?
Any defect or malfunction in products sold with a Flashpoint warranty. A Flashpoint warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. This warranty is valid only in the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia.
What is not covered?
Products sold on Flashpoint with a manufacturer’s warranty, batteries, or any problem that is caused by abuse or misuse of the product. Damage resulting from accident, impact damage, misapplication, abuse, or any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly, improper operation or maintenance, or usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to improper voltage supply is not covered.
How long is the warranty good for?
Unless otherwise noted in the product details, a Flashpoint warranty covers a period up to ninety (90) days. The Flashpoint warranty starts from the date of purchase.
What will Flashpoint do?
We will repair or replace the product upon customer request. If a replacement is no longer available or a repair is not possible, we will refund the purchase price.
What should be included upon return?
Returned products must be received by Flashpoint in the same condition as originally received by the customer. Include all cables, cords, chargers, batteries, cases, covers, and other included components that were packaged in the box. If you are unsure of what was included, the final photo on the product page of your item often shows what is included in the box.
***If the unit uses batteries, MAKE SURE the batteries are not inserted into the product when returning it to Flashpoint***
How do I get Warranty Service?
Contact Flashpoint Customer Service. If your product is covered under our warranty, a Flashpoint customer service representative will issue you an RMA number to return the product to our processing center. Customers are responsible for shipping the product back to Flashpoint at their own expense.
FLASHPOINT DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF FLASHPOINT CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. FLASHPOINT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions or limitations on the duration of implied warranties or conditions, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
FLASHPOINT OUT OF WARRANTY
Adorama can offer what is called an “Out of Warranty Replacement” . You would send back your damaged/defective unit and Adorama will send you a manufacturer-refurbished one for a discounted price. When the warehouse staff receives the damaged/defective unit, they will have Customer Service call you to place a NEW order for the replacement unit. Please note that the replacement unit will have a ninety (90) day warranty. If you want to extend the warranty beyond 90 days, you can add New Leaf’s Warranty.
The extended warranty must be added at the time Customer Service places the NEW order. Take note that the extended warranty will not cover accidental damage (only manufacturing defects).
Accidental Drops and Spills coverage cannot be added to Out of Warranty Replacement items.
If you want to arrange this, please print out and follow the instructions on this form
MAKE SURE TO KEEP RECORD OF YOUR TRACKING NUMBER WHEN YOU SEND IN YOUR UNIT, EVEN AFTER IT ARRIVES.
Please return the malfunctioning device ONLY, with no peripherals like cords, batteries, flashtubes, reflectors, and cables, unless you are concerned that the component is malfunctioning.
Please ship back in the original box, if possible.
Please DO NOT include anything that did not come in the original product box.
***If the unit uses batteries, MAKE SURE the batteries are not inserted into the product when returning it to Adorama***
The usual turnaround time for out of warranty replacements is 8-10 business days after the return is received by the warehouse staff.
Please note: our warehouse is still operating with reduced staff, working in alternating shifts due to Covid restrictions and required social distancing practices. This may delay the 8-10 business day turnaround time.
