We’ve got your back – here’s what you need to know about our Repair service

At Flashpoint, we’ve got your back. No matter what your creative vision is, if your gear breaks down or suddenly stops working at an inopportune time, your vision won’t be fully realized and you’ll be a frustrated creative. All our Flashpoint gear is designed to work as hard as you do, but we all know that mishaps happen. You drop and crack your screen, you break the hot shoe mount, a light breaks in the heat of the moment (or the photoshoot).

Not to worry. We can fix it! Here’s what you need to know about our reliable Repair Center.

What we can repair:
We know that accidents can happen. In the midst of shooting and working, drops, drips, spills, slips, falls, ‘oops’ and ‘whoops’ can affect anyone, hobbyist and professional alike. So we’re here to help. We offer a dedicated team for repairing your out-of-warranty gear so that you can get back to doing what you do best: creating.

Here’s just a few of the many things that our team can repair: cracked screens, dropped devices, malfunctioning lights, broken handles, motherboards on the fritz.

The Flashpoint Repair Center can repair all Flashpoint-branded products.  In addition, we can repair select Godox-branded products.

What we can’t repair:
water damage, gear dropped off a building or run over by a production truck

This service is for out-of-warranty products only. Please refer to our Warranty service if your product is under warranty.

Repair Policy Terms & Conditions

 

Repair Process:

  • Complete the Repair Request Form below
  • Please note that not all products or problems can be repaired. Please do not send anything in for repair until you have received a Repair Request Number from our team.
  • Someone on our team will do an assessment by phone, email, or video chat to isolate the problem and determine if repair(s) are possible.
  • After this determination has been made, we will issue you a Repair Request Number and provide an address where the item(s) can be shipped.
  • We will also notify you which accessories to include in your shipment if necessary to complete the repair.
  • Once a Repair Request Number has been issued, item(s) must be postmarked within 14 days of issue date.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that we receive the item(s). Please choose a shipping option that provides a tracking number and keep this tracking number for your records. Please do not ship any item(s) other than those noted in the Repair Request Form as we cannot guarantee we will be able to return these to you.

Repair Quotes & Prices

  • After we receive your item, we will fully assess the issue(s) and determine the cost of repairs
  • We will send you an invoice by email with our assessment and the cost of repair(s), including labor, parts (and return shipping).  Our response is normally 3 to 7 business days after receipt of product(s).

If you decide to do the repair(s):

  • If you agree to the repair , simply submit payment, and we will commence work on the repair(s). The invoice must be paid in full before the repair(s) can begin.
  • Upon completion, we ship your item(s) back to you via a method with signature confirmation.

If you decline to do the repair(s):

  • If you decide to not go through with the repair(s), please let us know by email.
  • You can choose to either have your items returned to you or we can properly dispose of them. You are responsible for the return shipping charges if you want the product returned.
  • We will send you a new invoice for the return shipping rate and we will return your item(s) to you in the condition in which they were received.

If the item cannot be repaired: 

  • We will send you a new invoice for the return shipping rate and we will return your item(s) to you in the condition in which they were received.

 

Repair Warranty: All repair work done by the Flashpoint Repair Center includes a 60-day warranty, covering parts and labor on all repair work. (Shipping is not included)
